The Treatment Centres is an independent charity which relies on the support of people like you. It costs over £6 million each year to keep the two treatment centres operating and provide the treatment our officers so desperately need.
We receive the majority of our funding from members of the Police Family who make a voluntary donation, normally through monthly payroll giving, in order to be eligible to attend the Centres for treatment. The remainder of our income is made up from fundraising, and other little extras such as room hire, hospitality etc.
However, on occasions we need to partner up with another organisation to help us cover costs involved in raising funds. A major fundraising event, such as our Big Step Challenge, can benefit greatly from having an outside sponsor willing to cover the costs involved in organising such an event, and thus allowing every single penny raised by the event participants to go directly to the work of the PTC.
We also need donations of special prizes for our Lottery Superdraws. We are looking for exciting packages, or experiences, such as our recent golf voucher for the prestigious Gleneagles Golf Resort that we can use to attract more players to our lottery.
So if you have any ideas as to who we could perhaps approach for help in either of these ways, or perhaps have a contact yourself that you could put us in touch with, then please get in touch and let us know. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
