The Trustees of Northumbria Police Benevolent Fund have generously made a donation of £10,000 to the Police Treatment Centres following our appeal for support. The treatment pool at St Andrews which plays a vital part in the recovery of injured and ill police officers is nearly 30 years old and needed refurbishment to ensure it will be there for officers in the future.
The Police Treatment Centres are very grateful for the
support. The refurbishment of the pool will cost us £150,000 and this generous donation takes us to nearly £60,000. On behalf of all the patients that we treat we would like to thank the Trustees for their support. It will help us to continue giving the officers from Northumbria and across the rest of our area the best possible treatment now and in the future.
