Although this is not of course the first edition of the PTC Newsletter, it is the first one since I took up my appointment as CEO in June of this year.
My first three months have been getting to grips with my responsibilities, and spending time out on visits, raising awareness, and trying to encourage new officers to donate. It is clear to me even in the short time I have been with the Charity, that the PTC is an outstanding facility. As the pressure and challenges of police work continues to build, the support that we offer to serving and retired officers to ensure their return to better health and work will remain vital.
I would like to thank and encourage those of you who already pay your donations to the PTC to continue to do so. Please encourage your colleagues to join us as well. To those of you, who are not members, please consider signing up. For just £1.30 a week you will get free treatment, food and accommodation following injury or illness. It could save your career.
So what does £1.30 a week get you ….
