Today we welcomed Alf Hitchcock, Chief Constable of the Ministry of Defence Police to St Andrews.
He was very impressed by the centre, commenting on the treatment that the officers were receiving, the staff and the facilities available to MOD officers. He is pictured with Patrick Cairns, CEO of the Police Treatment Centres.
Mr Hitchcock has responsibility for around 2600 police officers. Before his appointment in June 2013, he was Chief Constable of Bedfordshire Police. He was previously a Deputy Assistant Commissioner at the Metropolitan Police.
