Yesterday, we welcomed Faye McGuinness, Blue Light Programme Manager from MIND to St Andrews.
Faye met with CEO Patrick Cairns and Clinical Services Manager mark Oxley, before being given a tour of the facilities by Finance and Admin Manager Peter Moore. They even managed to see the new Sensory Garden, due to be formally opened next week, before the rain came!
This is one of a number of ongoing visits from MIND, following the launch of their new Blue Light Programme.
Both the PTC & Mind were awarded LIBOR funding, and MIND has used this to develop the Blue Light Programme, to provide mental health support for emergency services staff and volunteers from police, fire, ambulance and search and rescue services across England.
The PTC are working in partnership with Mind in order to progress our support for officers suffering from non-physical injuries.
